Ariana Grande has announced her plans to step back from the spotlight following the conclusion of the international leg of her "Eternal Sunshine" tour in September. In a heartwarming Instagram post, she expressed gratitude to her fans for the support and joy they have brought her during this period.
The 33-year-old singer, known for hits like "Petal," took to social media on June 29 to thank her audience for what she described as "the most special, beautiful, joyful and deeply fulfilling few months." She wrote, "I love you. I am overwhelmed with love and the deepest gratitude. I will cherish every moment of this time with you all & these memories forever. Thank you, Chicago."
Ariana's brother, Frankie Grande, also showed his support by posting a video on Instagram from their recent tour stop in Chicago. In the clip, he expressed his unwavering commitment to her and highlighted how proud he is of her achievements. He wrote, "Family forever," alongside footage of Ariana performing her 2014 hit "One Last Time."
Frankie continued, "I will have your back until the end of time." He added, "Last night was a beautiful celebration of your artistry and the magnificent eternal sunshine family you have built and created. It was a magical night. You are magical. You are my everything and I am so so happy I was there to see you shine on this tour one last time."
Ariana is set to return to the stage on August 15 for the international leg of her tour in London, which will take place at the O2 Arena over several dates until September 1. Her spokesperson stated that she plans to take a hiatus from public-facing work and appearances after completing her final show due to "endless public scrutiny." The rep added, "She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break."
An insider revealed to Page Six that Ariana has been "overworked" but remains happy performing her recent shows. However, constant chatter about her weight loss has taken its toll. The singer had previously exited the Broadway musical "Sunday in the Park with George," which was set to open in 2027 at London's Barbican Centre.
